A star

How do you approach a star?

It’s hard to look at it in all its shimmering glory.

So, you can understand, my struggle.

As so far, I have not found

The proper words

To address the blazing supernova.

The words they seem unworthy,

Of the neutron star, that takes my breath away

Each time I catch a glimpse,

Of rainbow lights

That captivate

My starved for beauty eyes.

It’s no surprise that

I sit and stare into the nonchalant darkness,

Making wishes upon other stars,

So, I can find one word,

One single word

To say.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I’m glad you find it beautiful. Indeed, the struggle to find inspiration and going through constant unfinished drafts…a divinely cursed privilege. One that is as much worthy of adoration as loathing 🙂
