This one is personal in so many ways, and intimate on so many levels – I debated long and hard, before finding the courage to share it. Since, I figured, I can be hand-wavy with my explanation, which I will be.

It fascinated me for a long time – the border between sanity and insanity. Does it exists, and if it does how to define it?

It is proven that the brain cares less about experience being real or unreal. That’s why advertisment, books, hypnosis, visiual art and the likes is working on us flawlesly. Thus, how do you know – where are you and what are you – in your head or out of it?

Is it bad? Is it wrong? I don’t think so. It’s simply different – experience, reaction, choice. I think, reality is an illusuon, because one does not see reality, one percieves it; and perception is highly subjective.

  1. Beautiful analysis on the perception of reality! I agree, honestly I feel like everyone sees the world through their own lens and what may be normal to me is strange/weird to someone else. 🤗
