My love spread thwart the galaxy,
Blindingly searching for your signs.
It’s my mind, my prime, my legacy,
That encourages me to cross lines.
I’m not afraid of constant loneliness,
I refuse to accept anything but you.
I’ll push through pain and tiredness,
I will do whatever I will have to do.
It’s not something I should cling to,
I should have been smarter and move on.
But all the places I have been to,
Just not you – and you are my home.
“Thwart” is a difficult word to weave into a story or poem so I was impressed with your poem. Best, Kevin
