I was invited by this lovely thinker and writer – Reggie German -(go and discover, I promise, there are wonders) to participate in Quote challenge. I did it before – twice, and, I am ready to do it again.
Like my previous challenges this one, also, will have a general motif – this time it will be education. A theme that is close to my heart professionally and otherwise.
Rules:
1.) Thank the person who nominated you.
2.) Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3.) Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
4.) Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.
There are many brilliant quotes concerning education but this one speaks to me, like no other.
I believe that we learn through hardship, sweat, tears and blood. Good experience, as happy and elevating it is – gives us nothing but a good memory and light-hearted nostalgia. The true lessons lie in loss and grief. The demons, the darkness – battles that we fought, scars that we acquired, mountains conquered and struggles overcame – make us grow, rethink, reevaluate. The pain brings change. After all “what does not kill us” and all that jazz.
Afterwards, when all said and done – when storms calm and one can breathe freely and smile happily, bearing the fruits of victory – it’s the most fulfilling moment – the awareness; the understanding that you have survived – you came out on the other side – battered, tired but so amazingly alive and knowledgeable.
I kindly invite to participate:
Wow. This is very productive. Yey! Congratulations. Looking forward to the next two quotes, 🙂
