It’s arduous.
A clever tongue finds excuses,
The pain doesn’t sting, it amuses.
Loneliness isn’t killing, it hardens,
Who doesn’t fight that pardons.
It’s hazardous.
A harmonious heart doesn’t mingle,
It gets what it wants or stays single.
The compliments fade, unsuccessful,
It hasn’t been meek nor regretful.
It’s amorous.
A brilliant mind never wavers,
Though Gods they may be or saviours.
It eats them all up, regardless,
The life it created is flawless.
